The Town of Pincourt invites its citizens to participate in the Arts Integration Project (PI), whose main theme is “Beautifying the Town of Pincourt through the integration of mural art throughout the territory”. The Town is once again issuing a call for projects for the year 2025, and the deadline for submitting a project proposal is Thursday, February 13, 2025, before 4:45 pm.

The Town accepts proposals for public outdoor murals from: schools, merchants, churches, institutions, public and local property owners; independent artists from any source, as long as the project is carried out on a public building located on Pincourt territory, and a partnership agreement is submitted with the proposal.

The maximum budget awarded in 2025 is $25,000 for one or more projects, based on the final recommendation of the PIA selection committee. The program aims to create a minimum of one work per year over the next few years. An unsuccessful proposal may be resubmitted in a subsequent year.

The project will receive a maximum of 25% of its budget to facilitate start-up. The balance will be paid on the basis of the final report submitted and final acceptance of the project.

For full details of the rules to be observed and the form to be completed, please consult the following web link: https://www.villepincourt.qc.ca/uploads/Formulaires/2024/PIA_2025_Formulaire_de_demande.pdf

Projects should be sent to Simon Grenier, Project Manager, at [email protected]. Physical documents should be sent or deposited to Town of Pincourt c/o Mr. Simon Grenier - 919, chemin Duhamel Pincourt (Québec) J7W 4G8.

Mr. Grenier may also be contacted for additional information or clarification at the same e-mail address.

Applicants will be notified of the status of their project by mid-March 2025.
