As part of Fire Prevention Week, Néomédia would like to remind you of a few activities taking place in various municipalities and towns: Pincourt/Notre-Dame-de-l'Île-Perrot, Les Cèdres and Rigaud tomorrow, October 12.

Pincourt

The Service de sécurité incendie de Pincourt/NDIP invites the population of Pincourt and Notre-Dame-de-l'Île-Perrot to this year's open house at fire station 6 on Saturday, October 12, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Fire station 6 is located at 701, boul. Cardinal-Léger in Pincourt. Don't miss this unique opportunity to find out more about the fire department.

This open house offers a varied program. Visitors can take a tour of the fire station and see the fire engines, including the pumper, tanker and first responder. Firefighters will also be demonstrating some of the SSI Pincourt/NDIP specialties.

For families, there will be inflatable games and activities to raise awareness of the importance of fire safety prevention.

Les Cèdres

In Les Cèdres, the public is also invited to join us on Saturday, October 12, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., at 11, rue Saint-Pierre.

The program includes
- A demonstration of the various appliances and tools used during firefighting operations;
- Training on the different extinguishers and their operation;
- An information booth on the various fire prevention regulations;
- Installation of smoke alarms in the home.

The team will be happy to answer your questions and explain the roles involved in an intervention.

Rigaud

On Saturday, October 12, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., the firefighting team will welcome you, rain or shine, for its traditional open house at the fire station (7, rue Jules-A.-Desjardins), under the theme: Le premier responsable, c'est toi.

This year's program includes

- The smoke house (prevention activities)

- The famous Chef Doudou in his kitchen

- A demonstration

- Combat suit trial and photo opportunity

- Truck tour

- Visit to the brand-new water rescue boat

- A tour of the facilities

A visit to the fire station is an excellent opportunity to learn more about protecting people and property in a playful context, and to raise awareness of safety and the profession among the younger generation.
