Workers are even a month and a half ahead of schedule
Real estate project on former Miss Dorion site to be delivered on schedule
In July 2021, MB Groupe et Associés unveiled its Racine Vaudreuil project on the site of the former Miss Dorion bar. Will the six-storey building with 81 residential units be ready on time and on budget?
The developer obtained the second-to-last building permit issued by the City of Vaudreuil-Dorion before a two-year moratorium was imposed.
In a telephone interview with Néomédia Vaudreuil-Soulanges, MB Groupe et Associés president and CEO Max Mahi took stock of the project, which is progressing well. "Right now, we're about a month and a half ahead of schedule for the project, which should be ready in spring 2024. There will be 35% affordable housing in the project, a rate rarely achieved in new construction in Quebec," says the businessman.
During our visit to the site, Néomédia was able to observe the presence of several workers and machinery, bearing witness to the progress of the worksite.
On its website, MB Groupe et Associés points out that Racine Vaudreuil, located on Harwood Boulevard and close to Highway 20, will offer tenants a lifestyle that merges nature and urban living.
Racine Vaudreuil will be a six-storey glass tower housing apartments and commercial space. The building will offer a total of 81 refined residential units, ranging from studios to three-bedroom apartments. The apartments will range in size from 750 to 1,250 square feet.
