A branch of the family business will open on Harwood Boulevard
Pizza Salvatoré to open in Vaudreuil-Dorion in January
In September 2021, Pizza Salvatoré confirmed to Néomédia its intention to set up shop in Vaudreuil-Dorion. This will finally happen in a few months' time, as a franchise of the family-owned banner will open its doors on Harwood Boulevard on January 4, 2024.
At the time of writing, the company has 73 pizzerias in operation across Quebec. Just recently, the company, owned by the 3rd generation of the Abbatiello family, reached the 100 million mark in sales.
A long-standing desire to settle in Vaudreuil-Dorion
Nearly two years ago, the company was actively looking for a 1,500-foot space in the region to establish itself.
"The whole family can't wait to find a location in the beautiful city of Vaudreuil-Dorion from which we can deliver our delicious pizzas and decadent poutines," said Élisabeth, co-owner of the chain with her three brothers and sister.
Nearly two and a half years later, this desire will become a reality as the restaurant will be set up near the Amir, opposite the Saint-Hubert. "We chose this location because it's central and on the main boulevard towards Île-Perrot. We've been looking to establish ourselves in Vaudreuil-Dorion for several months now, and we're delighted to have found this strategic location from which we can deploy our delivery service and welcome customers passing through and in transit " adds Pizza Salvatoré's Donations and Sponsorships public relations officer, Brigitte Morneau, by e-mail.
The new restaurant will employ between 35-40 people, according to company estimates. The restaurant chain is also established in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield and Châteauguay.
