For children in Vaudreuil-Soulanges
Christmas for All Foundation raises $135,000
A wind of generosity swept through La Cage Brasserie Sportive de Vaudreuil on November 20 as the Fondation Un Noël pour tous fundraising dinner took place. The evening, hosted by comedian Jean Petitclerc, raised $135,000.
Through this annual fund-raising dinner, as well as solicitations throughout the year, the Fondation Un Noël pour tous raises the funds needed to offer gift certificates to the neediest families in Vaudreuil-Soulanges.
"We are deeply touched by people's generosity. The first year, we raised $12,000, and since then we've continued to surpass our goal. We have incredible partners who, year after year, come through and support us. On behalf of our Board of Directors, I sincerely thank them," said Viviane Quane, Chairman of the Board.
Now in its 18th year, the Foundation has enabled thousands of children to experience the magic of Christmas since 2007. Once again this year, thanks to close collaboration with parishes and the Centre d'action bénévole de Soulanges, over 600 gift cards will be distributed, enabling as many children aged 0 to 17 to receive a gift.
