The Municipalité des Coteaux confirms that the project to redevelop the Wilson Park shoreline is progressing in line with government standards, with particular emphasis on the ecological restoration of this natural space.

After a series of temporary safety works carried out last June, the steps taken with the Ministère de l'Environnement, de la Lutte contre les changements climatiques, de la Faune et des Parcs (MELCCFP) are progressing positively towards a sustainable solution, informs the locality on its social networks.

In collaboration with Les Ateliers Ublo, the project combines landscape architecture and bioengineering to renaturalize access to Lac Saint-François. The redevelopment will restore the shoreline's ecological dynamics, while offering residents an improved living environment.

“General Manager Pamela Nantel expresses her great pride in this exemplary project, successfully piloted by Sébastien Demers and Audrey Caza. It's a team effort that reflects our commitment to preserving and enriching our natural spaces for future generations,” she concludes.
