The Fondation du Cégep de Valleyfield will be holding the 15th edition of its Vins & Causerie event on Thursday, November 7, starting at 5 p.m., at Café Chez Rose.

The event will be a convivial affair featuring upscale bites prepared by Domaine de la Templerie, accompanied by privately imported wines. Cégep students and staff will be on hand to serve the evening, which will be hosted by Geneviève Chenail, and for which Desjardins is the official presenter.

Cégep talent

This year, the Fondation is particularly keen to showcase the Cégep community, in line with its primary mission, through videos, performances and artistic works that will be presented during the evening. The talented Magalie Courtemanche, a student at Cégep de Valleyfield, will give a musical performance on stage. She was the winner of the 36th local finals of Cégeps en Spectacle 2023. A surprise from 3 Lacs Distillery awaits you to mark this special edition.

A mission in first place

The mission of the Fondation du Cégep de Valleyfield is to support students in the success of their academic projects, to help them develop to their full potential, and to contribute to the improvement of the facilities that are dedicated to them. The “Wine and Chat” is a golden opportunity to support the Foundation in this mission.

Tickets

Tickets for the evening are available for $200, and will give you the chance to bid on a number of exciting silent auction lots. In an effort to go greener, ticketing will be virtual only. Guests will therefore need to ensure they have a cell phone at the entrance to the event, as well as to participate in the silent auction.
