A 49-year-old man from L'Île-Perrot was found unconscious on Terrasse-Vaudreuil boulevard in the municipality of the same name just before 5pm on Sunday. According to the Sûreté du Québec, the death of the man, who was known in the area, was not of criminal origin.  

“No traces of violence were found on the body. The cause of death has yet to be determined, and an autopsy will be performed to try to determine it. The Coroner's Office will take over in this case, since no criminal aspect was noted at the scene. According to our information, in the hours preceding his death, the man was seen inhaling a container of compressed air sometimes used to clean computer keyboards”, informs police spokesman Louis-Philippe Ruel.
