Théâtre de l'île Perrot launches its artistic season
Théâtre de l'île Perrot launches its artistic season. From June to September, a dozen performances are offered to day camp audiences, with a new show featuring music, theater and dance in a participatory formula.
The season kicks off with Les promesses du papillon, a trio show featuring jazz singer Willow Quig, animator-storyteller and specialist in young audiences Nathalie Hains, and multidisciplinary artist and show designer Shantal Nicole.
Over 700 children and families will be introduced to environmental protection in a playful way. A hummingbird, two blue butterflies, a lynx, an owl and a brown bear challenge the audience to play its part, however small.
A musical and dance journey, from French song to jazz and rap, as well as contemporary, African and Aboriginal dance, is presented. We dance, we sing, we move.
Performances are scheduled exclusively for day camps in Notre-Dame-Île-Perrot, L'Île-Perrot and Pincourt, and for the general public on Sunday, September 24 at 2 p.m. at Parc historique de la Pointe-du-Moulin in Notre-Dame-de-L'Île-Perrot.
- Île-Perrot July 13 - 9:30 a.m., 11:15 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
- Pincourt August 2 - 9:30 a.m., 11:15 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
- Parc historique de la Pointe-du-Moulin - September 24 - 2 pm, family audience
