Work on the future hospital starts next Monday

The City of Vaudreuil-Dorion has announced that municipal infrastructure work will be carried out near Autoroute 30 and Route 340 in preparation for the arrival of the future hospital. 

The worksite will be in place between August 21 and the end of November (at night). Between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following day, you can expect the following restrictions in the area:

- Westbound ramp from route 340 (boulevard de la Cité-des-Jeunes) to autoroute 30;

- Eastbound ramp from route 340 (boulevard de la Cité-des-Jeunes) to autoroute 30;

- Exit ramp no. 2 (Vaudreuil-Dorion/boulevard de la Cité-des-Jeunes/Saint-Lazare) from Autoroute 30 eastbound;

- Obstruction of every other lane on Autoroute 30 westbound;

- Interference of one of two lanes on route 340 (boulevard de la Cité-des-Jeunes) between boulevard de la Gare and chemin de la Petite-Rivière. 

The work will also have an impact on traffic on boulevard de la Gare. During September, the following barrier will be in place at all times: 

- contra-flow traffic between route 340 (boulevard de la Cité-des-Jeunes) and rue Edouard-Lalonde, leaving one lane per direction. Access to businesses will remain available.
