Firefighters' Day on the summer horizon
Founded in 1980 by the Pincourt Firefighters' Association, Firefighters' Day is Pincourt's annual family celebration (combining Fête nationale and Canada Day celebrations). Since its inception, participation in this event has grown steadily. The number of visitors now exceeds 10,000. This year, everyone is invited to August 10.
Here's the program:
12 p.m.: Departure of the emergency vehicle parade from Faubourg de l'Île
12:30 p.m.: Start of entertainment in Bellevue Park (inflatable games, face painting, etc.)
5 p.m. - 7 p.m.: DJ Steve Watt
7 p.m. - 8 p.m.: Étienne Drapeau
8:30 pm - 10 p.m.: Boogie Wonder Band
10 pm - 10:30 p.m.: Fireworks
10:30 - 11:30 p.m.: DJ Steve Watt
The gourmet area will also be full of surprises.
Exo shuttle and parking :
Public transport
A free shuttle service is available at Faubourg-de-l'Île from 1 p.m. to midnight.
The EXO bus will run back and forth between Bellevue Park and the Faubourg.
Boarding:
- Av. Joseph-Laflèche, opposite Métro grocery store
- Corner of avenue Mgr.-Langlois/Boul. Cardinal-Léger
- Watch for signs to take the shuttle.
Parking
Parking is available on the streets around Bellevue Park:
- Rue Maple;
- Rue Elmwood;
- Rue St-Patrick, etc.
