On February 28, VIVRE et Grandir Autrement inaugurated its first community service center in Les Cèdres, offering specialized daytime respite care for families with neurodivergent children.

The project, made possible thanks to the collaboration of several partners, aims to promote the social integration and well-being of youngsters from the age of three.

Located at 1089 chemin du Fleuve, the center was officially inaugurated in the presence of Roger Robitaille, President of the Board of Directors, Marilyne Picard, MNA for Soulanges, and Mélanie Deveault, founder and Executive Director of the organization.

The official flag-raising and ribbon-cutting marked the opening, symbolizing VIVRE et Grandir Autrement's commitment to families in the region.

This local service offers day care for neurodivergent children from the age of three. Supervised by qualified professionals, these children benefit from adapted support aimed at facilitating their social integration and development.

An open day will be held on March 11 to give visitors an insight into this new facility. From 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., visitors will be able to explore the premises freely, followed by an information evening from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., designed to answer questions from families and professionals interested in the center's services.
