The Town of Pincourt announces the death of Mr. Sam Ierfino, municipal councillor for district 3, on February 21, 2025.

Trained as a lawyer, Mr. Ierfino devoted 12 years of his life, or three terms, to serving the people of Pincourt, playing a key role in the development and improvement of the quality of life of its citizens. His unwavering commitment to youth, the environment and culture left an indelible mark on the town.

"Yesterday, we lost a devoted colleague and friend, whose exceptional contribution to municipal life will remain etched in our memories. On behalf of the Town Council and Town employees, we offer our most sincere condolences to his family and loved ones," said Pincourt Mayor Claude Comeau.
