A look back in pictures on the visit of the Old Canadians to Saint-Lazare this Saturday
As part of the festivities surrounding the 150th anniversary of the City of Saint-Lazare, the organizing committee welcomed the Montreal Canadiens hockey team on Saturday afternoon, February 15. The formation composed of old stars of the Tricolore was measured at the Stars of Saint-Lazare. The friendly joust was preceded by a barbecue held outside the Saint-Lazare Sports Complex on this chilly Saturday.
A bill to extend shop opening hours
Earlier this week, the Minister for the Economy, Christopher Skeete, tabled Bill 85, a package of some 30 regulatory relief measures. Among them is the easing of regulatory constraints for pharmacies and grocery stores.

Youth mental health cuts in Vaudreuil-Soulanges: families left to fend for themselves
Amid the wave of budget cuts in the healthcare network, an entire team dedicated to supporting young people with mental health disorders in Vaudreuil-Soulanges will be dismantled as of March 22. This decision has been strongly denounced by the Alliance du personnel professionnel et technique de la santé et des services sociaux (APTS), which is concerned about the repercussions for young people and their families.

Régates de Valleyfield: 110 teams expected on the Robert Théorêt circuit
For its 85th edition, the Régates de Valleyfield will be pulling out all the stops both on stage, with its entertainment component, and on the water, with its racing component. True to its tradition, the event combining thrills and culture will be held in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield's Delpha-Sauvé Park on July 4, 5, 10, 11 and 12.
20th Street: Saint-Zotique spends $930,608 to extend it
After years of negotiations, the Ville de Saint-Zotique is finally moving ahead with the extension of 20th Street. At its meeting on Tuesday, February 18, the municipal council approved a resolution authorizing payment of $930,608.
