The Programme d'innovation culturelle et numérique 2025 is launched
The Conseil des arts et de la culture de Vaudreuil-Soulange (CACVS) is pleased to launch a call for projects for its Programme d'innovation culturelle et numérique (PICN) 2025. The aim of this programme is to facilitate the emergence of innovative cultural projects in the Vaudreuil-Soulanges MRC. The deadline for submitting a project is 11:59 pm on 21 April 2025.
Eligibility for the programme
The following are eligible to apply :
Municipalities
Non-profit organizations with their head office in the CACVS territory, regardless of their field of activity;
Non-financial cooperatives.
Project sponsors are encouraged to form partnerships with other organizations or with artists, craftspeople or cultural stakeholders.
Here are a few examples of possible partnerships (non-exhaustive list):
Social development organization + artists' collective + school;
Municipality + artist + school;
Municipality + cultural organization;
Municipality + artist;
Artists' collective (incorporated as an NPO) + cultural organization.
NOTE: Applicants whose projects have not yet been completed are not eligible to apply.

People interested in developing a project are invited to attend a short webinar presented by the CACVS team.
The webinar will take place on Wednesday 26 February from noon to 1 p.m.

You can also consult the projects selected in recent years (2019 to 2024) to understand what type of project to submit.
The Cultural Innovation Support Programme has three general objectives:
- To contribute to the vitality of the community by supporting original and coherent cultural initiatives that help make art and culture more accessible;
- To provide support for the creation, production, dissemination and marketing of art in order to highlight the creative process and its ability to generate lasting changes in perception among different audiences;
- To promote greater public awareness of culture in Vaudreuil-Soulanges, in all its forms, through the principles of sustainable development.
The aim of the NCPI is to enable applicants to address opportunities for social, environmental and economic innovation within communities, using culture as a tool for positive change to help ensure a strong and dynamic future for the Vaudreuil-Soulanges region.
Projects taking place in one or more of the 23 municipalities in the Vaudreuil-Soulanges RCM that the CACVS serves may be submitted to the call for projects.
In 2024, 6 projects were selected for this call for tenders:
- Musée régional de Vaudreuil-Soulanges - Documentary capsule entitled Histoires agricoles de Vaudreuil-Soulanges ($10,500)
- Fondation de la Cité-des-Jeunes - Mosaiculture à l'école ($10,500)
- Ville de Saint-Lazare - Cultural mediation: preservation of Saint-Lazare's equestrian heritage ($10,500)
- Municipalité de Rivière-Beaudette - Écosphère en couleurs: a living mural of our local ecosystem ($10,500)
- Municipalité of Pointe-des-Cascades - The magical and wonderful world of books, at the Adrienne Demontigny-Clément library ($10,223)
- Orchestre symphonique des jeunes de Vaudreuil-Soulanges (OSJVS) - The Orchestre symphonique des jeunes de Vaudreuil-Soulanges collaborates with various musical ensembles to present concerts in the Vaudreuil-Soulanges region ($7777).
