The mission of the Comité inter-tables en communication is to improve knowledge of the organizations, round tables, committees and socio-community services available in the Vaudreuil-Soulanges region. It is made up of representatives from ten local roundtables, community organizers and the Corporation de développement communautaire de Vaudreuil-Soulanges, in collaboration with the MRC Vaudreuil-Soulanges of 211 Grand Montréal.

Anyone with a temporary or permanent social need can call 211. 211 helps you find the right community, public and parapublic services and programs close to you. It's important to contact us or search for resources online before a problem escalates or becomes a crisis.
Here are a few examples:
- I'm having trouble meeting my basic needs (food, housing, furniture, clothing);
- I want to enter the job market;
- I'm looking for services for my elderly parents (residence, medical transportation, accompaniment);
- My daughter needs public mental health services;
- I'd like to join a support group to break my isolation and meet other people in my situation;
- I'm a newcomer and I need reception and integration services (help with government programs, francization courses, etc.);
- I'm a disabled person looking for assistance;
- I'm looking for a supervised apartment;
- I'm a social worker looking for temporary housing for a client;
- I'm looking for legal advice to help me understand my housing rights;
- I need help filling out my tax returns.
In 2024, from January 1 to December 31, 146 calls from the Vaudreuil-Soulanges community were forwarded to 211. Of these, 68 were from Vaudreuil-Dorion, 33 from L'Île-Perrot, 26 from Pincourt and 15 from Saint-Lazare.Residents of Terrasse-Vaudreuil, Hudson, Les Cèdres, Notre-Dame-de-l'Île-Perrot, L'Île-Cadieux and Pointe-des-Cascades also contacted this resource for information.
Of the146 calls, 251 needs were expressed and 355 referrals were exchanged between callers. Concerns related to a variety of topics, but the five most popular were: housing (20.3%), mental health (18.7%), justice, consumer and public safety issues (9.56%), personal, family and community support (9.16%) and food (8.7%).
Of all callers, 71% spoke French, while 29% spoke English. The average age of callers was 48.
