The Liberal Party of Canada's front-runner for the leadership, Mark Carney, was in Vaudreuil-Soulanges on Friday, February 7.

Accompanied by Peter Schiefke, Member of Parliament for Vaudreuil-Soulanges, Mark Carney visited the Cafexo on Avenue Saint-Charles in Vaudreuil-Dorion to talk with members of the Vaudreuil Federal Liberal Association, as well as citizens and representatives of the Vaudreuil-Soulanges business community.

Among the topics addressed by the former Governor of the Banks of Canada and England were, of course, the U.S. tariff threats against Canada. Job creation, affordability, the impact of climate change and the importance of local media.
