On January 15, the very first LabGo cohort successfully completed its course, marking an important milestone for this unique simulation space. For one year, the participants plunged into the heart of a 100% online work environment, faithfully reproducing the workings of a high-performance information technology (IT) company at Cégep Gérald-Godin.

Supervised by a team of highly qualified coaches, participants worked in teams on a real Web programming project provided by a local company. In addition to obtaining an Attestation of Collegial Studies (ACS) in Web technology programming, they leave LabGo with valuable experience that opens the doors to a job market with excellent prospects in this sector throughout Quebec, according to the information available on the Service Québec website 1

"We are proud of the progress made by our graduates. Their commitment and perseverance demonstrate the relevance of LabGo as a springboard to a promising career in Web development," says Nathalie Clusiau, the pedagogical advisor in charge of the program. Thanks to the support of Service Québec, students who met the eligibility criteria were able to benefit from financial support, thus facilitating their professional integration.

With this first success, LabGo is establishing itself as an innovative solution for meeting the needs of the IT sector by training Web developers who are ready to meet the challenges of the job market.
