Vaudreuil-Dorion's Parc de la Maison-Valois will play host to Feux et Flocons on Saturday, February 22. The event will open at 7 p.m., and those in attendance can enjoy performances by DJ Evalicious, Adrien Tosti and Duffix, as they perform on the roof of the MIXBUS, a school bus converted into a stage.

Vincent Bastien, Director of Leisure and Cultural Services, is delighted with the public's enthusiasm for the event. “Every winter, residents are always eager to take part in Feux et flocons. Whatever the weather, they're always there.”

Lots of activities on the program

DJ Duffix will open the evening from 7:00 to 7:45 p.m., followed by Adrien Tosti from 7:45 to 8:45 p.m. The event's headliner, DJ Evalicious, takes to the stage from 8:45 to 10:30 pm.

There will also be strolling entertainment, a slide, giant games and the Caravane Mozaïk with artist Philippe Corriveau's interactive digital experience Blob. The fireworks, the highlight of the evening, will take place around 9:15 p.m. over Vaudreuil Bay.

There will be a Frit & Gof food truck and hot alcoholic beverages available at the bars for those attending the event. No outside alcohol will be allowed on site. Coffee and hot chocolate will be served free of charge.

Facility closures to be expected

The ice ring, slide and equipment loan at Parc de la Maison-Valois will be closed from 8:30 a.m. on February 19 to allow for site development, until 7 p.m. on Saturday, February 22. The skating rink will remain closed on the evening of the event.

The Maison-Valois parking lot will be inaccessible from Wednesday, February 19 at 8:30 a.m. to Monday, February 24 at 4 p.m. to facilitate site set-up and dismantling. The slide will be open from 7 p.m. on February 22, with tubes and snowskate boards on loan.

The event may be cancelled if weather conditions are unfavorable. Residents are invited to monitor the Town's Facebook page or call the Info-Annulation line at 450 424-8502 to make sure the event will take place.
