Pierre Séguin takes over as Chairman of the Board of Directors
A new role within Concertation Horizon for the mayor of L'Île-Perrot
Pierre Séguin, mayor of L'Île-Perrot and deputy prefect of the Vaudreuil-Soulanges MRC, recently joined the board of directors of Concertation Horizon. He is now President of the organization, following the departure of the outgoing President.
The Board of Directors comprises some fifteen members from the municipal, institutional, educational and healthcare sectors.
On a day-to-day basis, Concertation Horizon's mission is to mobilize and coordinate key regional and territorial players in western Montérégie in support of social development and educational success, in order to develop a common, shared vision of the challenges and issues involved in meeting community needs.
Mr. Séguin can count on the support of Dr. David Martin-Milot, a physician specializing in public health and preventive medicine, who has been elected to the position of Vice-President.
"We welcome them to their new positions and are delighted to be able to count on their involvement. Thank you for your involvement," says the organization on its official Facebook page.
