The Cavaliers team from Club de Basketball de l'Ouest (CBO) won the Sinisco Classic, a tournament organized by Université Laval, in Quebec City on January 12.

Michel Bento, cadet coach, and Patrick Benoit, juvenile coach, led their respective teams with brio, enabling both the juvenile AA team and the cadet AA team to win the final in their respective categories.

Noah Rosa, from the juvenile team, and Joshua Boiselle-Gaughan, from the cadet team, were awarded the title of Tournament Player of the Year. This award, presented by Université Laval, recognizes the performance of deserving athletes.

More success for the Cavaliers

After their triumph in the provincial capital, the Cavaliers also made their mark in recent days, with victories over Uptown Montreal Basketball and DCB Saint-Constant.

Abby Tessier shone against the Uptown Montreal Huskies, scoring 15 points in a come-from-behind victory by a single point. She earned the Cavaliers' Player of the Week award.

In a convincing 100-70 win over DCB Saint-Constant, Logan Matheson scored 47 points to help his team to victory. Thanks to this remarkable performance, Matheson was named the Cavaliers' Player of the Week.
