The third and final day of competition at La Classique hivernale Senior de Saint-Zotique, held on Sunday, January 26, featured 24 teams vying for the champions' banner and the $450 prize money awarded by the Ville de Saint-Zotique. 

Emotions ran high, and at the time of writing, around 9 p.m. on Sunday January 26, the result of the final match between Grand Man and Hockey Salaberry was still unknown. 

Here are the results of the day's other matches: 

Les Boys 2 - Air Technico 8 

Air Technico secured a commanding lead by finding the back of the net 8 times to Les Boys' 2. 

Hockey Salaberry 2 - Grand Man 3 

Team Grand Man performed well, winning 3-2 against Hockey Salaberry. A good collective performance from the players enabled Grand Man to control the pace of the game. 

Les Chums 3 - 4th Liner 5 

The 4th Liner controlled their duel with Les Chums to beat their opponents 5-3. 

Saints 0 - Chaser Electric 1 

The first shutout came in the 11:10 match between the two teams. Scoring opportunities were few and far between during the match, and in the end it was the 2nd team that left the rink with the victory. 

Kawela 2 - Les Oroks 0 

The second shutout came immediately after the first as Team Lawela took on the Oroks. The former managed to win and keep up the tempo. 

North Ice 5 - Plomberie ML 3 

Team North Ice found their way to victory after blackening the score sheet five times to 3 for the representatives of Plomberie ML. 

Dominion Plumbing 1 - Jardins 4 Saisons 5

The Jardins 4 Saisons team built on their weekend's success to take a comfortable four-goal lead over their opponents Plomberie Dominion. 

Chaser Electro 5 - Grand Man 6 

After a close game in which both teams made the most of their scoring chances, it was the Grand Man team that came out on top. 

Hockey Salaberry 5 - 4th Liner 4 

The match went in Hockey Salaberry's favor, and they came away with the honors. 

Kawela 0 - Adrénaline 2

The match ended in a clear 2-0 victory for the Adrénaline women's team. The 11 players won a $450 purse donated by the Ville de Saint-Zotique. 

North Ice 4 - Jardins 4 Saisons 7 

The Jardins 4 Saisons team finished off its presence at the tournament in fine style, winning the title of champion in the Recreational Men's category of La Classique hivernale Senior de Saint-Zotique, and the $450 purse that goes with the honor.
