Here are a few suggestions for community, cultural, recreational and sporting activities taking place in the region this weekend. 

Saturday, January 25:

5th edition of Lumin'Art

The exhibition features 56 new works, 39 by Vaudreuil-Soulanges artists and 17 by students from Vaudreuil-Dorion schools and seniors' residences.

When: Between Between 4 p.m. and 10 p.m., until February 16

Saint-Zotique Senior Winter Classic 

Field hockey teams compete on the refrigerated rink for the championship banner in their categories.  

Time: 9 a.m. to 8:45 p.m; 

Location: Saint-Zotique refrigerated rink 

Winter fair at Les Coteaux 

The winter festivities season kicks off with the Winter Fair. Families are invited to enjoy a festive afternoon with background music, an ice ring for skating, kermesse games, as well as the loan of tubes and fatbikes. 

Participants can also enjoy free hot chocolate and maple taffy. Citizens are encouraged to bring their own reusable cups for an eco-responsible event.

When: 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Terrace on ice at Terrasse-Vaudreuil

Although the Terrasse café is closed for the winter, the team has prepared a variety of activities for the winter season. 

For the occasion, we're offering a special menu for only $4: 

- Crispy chicken with aioli  

- Fried tortellini with sausage and tomato coulis  

- Cod fish & chips with tartar sauce  

- Fried gnocchi with tomato sauce  

- Vegetarian chili

6th edition of Yéti-Fest de Salaberry-de-Valleyfield

An annual winter event offering a wide range of fun activities for young and old. 

Where: Rue de la Fabrique 

On the program: 

1:30 pm: Line-dancing activity on Rue de la Fabrique;

3:30pm: Show by the group Amplitude on the Mixbus 

7 p.m.: Candlelight concert at the Basilique-Cathédrale Sainte-Cécile featuring Vivaldi's Four Seasons accompanied by the most beautiful film melodies.

9pm: DJ and light entertainment until 10:30pm.
