Another busy week draws to a close. Here's what's been happening in Vaudreuil-Soulanges over the past few days. 

Star Académie: Laurence Libersan from Vaudreuil-Dorion is chosen

Vaudreuil-Dorion's Laurence Libersan officially joins Star Académie 2025. Four candidates, including the young Vaudreuil-Dorion native, received their passes on the show En route vers Star Académie, broadcast this Thursday on TVA.

Earlier this Wednesday, January 22, Amazon announced the closure of its seven Quebec warehouses, including the one located at 80 Léon-Malouin Street in the Alta Industrial Park in Coteau-du-Lac. Regional Members of Parliament Marilyne Picard and Claude DeBellefeuille have reacted to the news in the past few minutes.

In Rivière-Beaudette, the municipality's incessant requests to the Société d'État prompted the latter to rebuild the Saint-Polycarpe substation.
