Globally renowned Swedish furniture retailer IKEA will establish its Planning and Order Point on Boulevard de la Gare in Vaudreuil-Dorion, occupying the former Bouclair store location.

Planning and Order Points offer planning services, with or without an appointment, where customers can sit down with an IKEA expert to plan complex purchases, such as storage solutions for kitchens or bedrooms.

Products are not available for immediate pickup at these centers. Instead, customers can explore and discover a curated selection of IKEA layouts designed to meet their furnishing needs.

Once an order is placed, customers can choose home delivery or pickup at a designated location.

By setting up in the region, IKEA "hopes to reach more Quebecers and meet their needs for personalized home design, closer to home."
