A busy start to the week for the Pionniers de l'École secondaire Soulanges, as the U14, U15 and U18 teams were all in action last Monday and Tuesday, January 14 and 15.

On Monday evening, the U14s hosted Collège Reine-Marie. The team led by Charles Villemaire scored a convincing 7-3 victory. Lyam Leroux was named player of the match with two goals and an assist. Goalkeeper Olivier Bray recorded 23 saves, winning the title of most persistent player.

The U15s hosted the formidable École secondaire Père-Marquette program on Tuesday evening. Despite starting the game with a 3-0 deficit, Vincent Lemieux's team turned things around and won 6-4.

The U18s were also in action on Tuesday. They traveled to Montreal to take on Collège St-Jean-Vianney. After a quiet first period, Marc Lauzon's players came out on top in the second, eventually winning 7-2. Christophe Lalonde led the offense with two goals and an assist.
