The MRC de Vaudreuil-Soulanges wishes to advise residents that, due to certain problems that have arisen since the new contract for the collection of recyclables by wheeled bin came into effect, the special surplus collection will be extended from January 9 to 14 inclusive.

As agreed, the collection will take place on the same day as the recyclables collection. Residents are therefore invited to place any additional recyclables next to the blue bin in the transparent bags provided.

For cardboard boxes, simply dismantle them, stack them in a single box with a maximum proposed size of 90 cm by 90 cm, and place them next to your blue bin, at a distance of 60 cm.

Since January 1, the collection day for recyclables has been changed for 12 of the region's 23 municipalities.

Here is the new schedule for affected municipalities:

- Hudson, Pointe-des-Cascades, Sainte-Justine-de-Newton, Sainte-Marthe, Saint-Télesphore, Saint-Zotique: Monday of each week;

- Pincourt, Rivière-Beaudette: weekly Tuesdays;

- Les Cèdres, Les Coteaux, Pointe-Fortune and Très-Saint-Rédempteur: weekly Thursdays.
