The Accès-Loisirs Vaudreuil-Soulanges program is back with new registration dates for the winter 2025 session, to offer children, adults and seniors from low-income families free places for sports, cultural and outdoor activities. Register is open from January 11, 9 a.m. to January 14, 4 p.m.

Those wishing to register for the program are invited to visit the program's website at https://www.maisondelafamillevs.ca/services/acces-loisirs-vs/ to create an account and submit the necessary documents. Families with an account will then be able to consult the list of activities on offer and take advantage of online registration.

Although online registration is preferred, eligible citizens can still register by phone on Saturday, January 11, between 9 a.m. and noon, or schedule a registration appointment in person by contacting the Maison de la Famille Vaudreuil-Soulanges at 450 217-2177, ext. 1.

Accès-Loisirs Vaudreuil-Soulanges program

Inspired by a model already implemented in several regions of Quebec, the Accès-Loisirs Vaudreuil-Soulanges program, in collaboration with the Maison de la Famille Vaudreuil-Soulanges, searches for places in activities offered by sports, cultural and recreational organizations that spontaneously agree to donate them; or to offer places that were not filled during their registration periods.

These places then become available to all those eligible for the Accès-Loisirs Vaudreuil-Soulanges program. The latest figures from the Direction de santé publique indicate that over 6,000 residents of Vaudreuil-Soulanges are currently living below the low-income threshold.

Whether for families or individuals, taking part in sports, cultural or outdoor activities helps to socialize, break isolation and develop skills that enhance the quality of life of citizens and the dynamism of our communities.

For more information on this program, please contact the Maison de la Famille Vaudreuil-Soulanges at 450 217-2177, ext. 1.

Recreation providers wishing to offer free places at their activities can contact the Maison de la Famille Vaudreuil-Soulanges at [email protected]

The Maison de la Famille is located at 15, rue Louise-Josephte in Vaudreuil-Dorion.
