At the start of 2025, the A30 Express is announcing updated toll rates, effective February 1. The new rates will be $2.30 per axle for category 1 vehicles, for a total of $4.60 per passage for a standard car. For category 2 vehicles, those measuring 230 cm in height or more, the rate will be $3.45 per axle.

The fare adjustment follows the agreement between the Ministère des Transports et de la Mobilité durable and A30 Express, which provides for a variation according to traffic levels. With traffic expected to exceed 30,000 vehicles per day by 2024, this increase is necessary. Revenues generated by the toll contribute primarily to repayment of the debt incurred in building the A30, as well as to its maintenance. Part of the revenue is also transferred to the Quebec Ministry of Transport once a certain threshold has been reached.

Free charging for electric vehicles

Owners of electric vehicles equipped with a green plate and a valid transponder will continue to benefit from free tolls. This measure is supported by the Quebec government's transportation electrification program.

The A30 Express transponder is offered free of charge, with no purchase or management fees. Get through the tolls faster and keep an eye on your passage history.

Full fares and the 2025 fare grid are available at a30express.com. They will be in force from February 1, 2025 to January 31, 2026.
