The holiday season is a great time to get kids, family and friends together, have fun, enjoy some out-of-the-ordinary activities or simply take time out.

Here's a list of activities taking place during the holiday season in the region. Enjoy yourself in Vaudreuil-Soulanges.

Bricolo Café céramique: open every day except December 25

Open every day except December 25, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Bricolo Café lets you enjoy a coffee and a bite to eat while painting a ceramic object of your choice.

In addition to painting and creating in the studio while enjoying a good cup of coffee, Bricolo Café Ceramique offers animation for group and family activities, girls' nights out, happy hours, etc. Reservations are required. Group activities can take place after 5 p.m., with reservations. 

Le Bricolo Café and its team are located at 434, avenue Saint-Charles in Vaudreuil-Dorion. They can be reached at 450-218-6776.

Les Sentiers de l'escapade du Mont-Rigaud, every day

Get close to nature, breathe in the fresh air and enjoy panoramic views of the region. All trail information is available on the Sentiers de l'escapade Website. 

As of December 20, conditions were less than ideal for most activities, with the exception of hiking, due to light snow and icy surfaces. Check conditions for snowshoeing, cross-country skiing and fatbike riding.

Bibliothèque Guy-Godin, December 28

On Saturday, December 28 at 1:30 p.m. at the Salle Pauline-Maclean of the Bibliothèque Guy-Godin, there will be a Cinéma popcorn entre amis activity: popcorn will be offered during the presentation of the film: Le souhait - Asha et la bonne étoile. Reservations are required.

Town of Pincourt

On December 30, January 3, 6 and 27, the Town of Pincourt offers free skating to its citizens from 1 p.m. to 4:50 p.m. at the Cité-des-Jeunes arena. Proof of residency is required. Reservations are not necessary.

There will also be free skating at other times during the month of January. The Pincourt Library is offering crochet workshops for beginners on 4 occasions during the month of January.

Ville de Notre-Dame-de-l'Île-Perrot

Take advantage of the holiday season to let your youngsters use the Super Gym on December 26 and every Sunday in January. This activity is dedicated to children aged 6 and over who want to expend their energy from 1 to 4 p.m., while their parents go about their business!

Under the supervision of activity leaders, they'll enjoy a wide range of activities. All equipment is provided. Running shoes and sportswear are mandatory. Parents must fill out an information form on site or in advance.

For skating and field hockey fans, take advantage of this vacation to try out the refrigerated rink at Parc des Éperviers. With its new roof, you can enjoy it no matter what the weather!

Ecomuseum, in December and January 

The Ecomuseum is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., except on December 25. Several activities are organized during the holiday season in December and January, always at the same schedule.

Here are just a few of the activities scheduled for December and January: on December 27, 28 and 29, and January 3, there's the Holiday Feast: snowshoes and gifts, from 1 to 4 p.m.; on January 4, 12 and 18, there are the Lunches, first with the otters and pekans, then with the foxes and finally with the wolves; lunches are from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m.

Lumin'Art, parc Le 405 Vaudreuil-Dorion, from now until February 2

Lumin'Art is exhibiting for a 5th year at Parc Le 405 in Vaudreuil-Dorion, from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., until February 2. This exhibition was created to bring light to the holiday season. Admission is free.

The exhibition features a total of 56 works inspired by the theme Mutation: 39 by artists from the Vaudreuil-Soulanges region, 17 by students from Vaudreuil-Dorion schools and residents of seniors' residences.

This new exhibition joins those of previous years and an exhibition by Club photo Vaudreuil-Dorion, for an even more enchanting experience!
