Hand-painted baubles, felted ornaments, wooden pens, maple products, macramé creations, jewelry in a variety of styles - these are just some of the products on sale at the Musée régional de Vaudreuil-Soulanges Christmas boutique until Friday, December 20. Why not stop in to complete your holiday shopping?

It's the perfect place to pick up hostess gifts, stocking stuffers and local creations for loved ones. The special boutique will be set up in the multi-purpose hall until December 20.

In addition to the aforementioned products, the boutique will also feature the 12 children's albums produced by the Museum, featuring Cyprienne, the adorable mouse. Beautifully illustrated by Saint-Lazare artist Johanne Mitchell, and written by Chantal Séguin, the Museum's Director of Educational Services, this series is a 100% local product. Over the years, many mouse-related products have been added, such as puzzles and Christmas cards.

Visitors to this short-lived Christmas boutique will have the chance to view works from the De toutes les couleurs benefit exhibition, on sale for $150.

In addition, a wide range of books by local authors and publications on the history of Vaudreuil-Soulanges will be on display at the Museum entrance for the occasion. These include Vaudreuil-Dorion : La fusion de nos histoires, Pointe-des-Cascades : Au fil de l'eau vive, De Belle-Plage à Vaudreuil-sur-le-Lac 1920-2020 and L'Île Perrot, rurale et urbaine.

Finally, a great new feature this year: the Museum presents the productions created by students in the Arts-Studies program at École secondaire de la Cité-des-Jeunes to raise funds for their trip to Italy.

This Friday, the boutique is open from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.The Museum is closed from December 21 to January 6 inclusively.
