Tough defeat for Pionniers de Soulanges U14 team
The Soulanges Pioneers M14 team was in action on Monday, December 16, against the strong program of École secondaire Cap-Jeunesse from the Laurentians, who visited Saint-Polycarpe.
Despite a 7-0 loss, the Pioneers believe their goaltender, Charles-Olivier Leduc, delivered an outstanding performance with 30 saves. Elliot Hallé was named Player of the Game for the second consecutive match. According to the team, he stood out with his physical play in one-on-one battles and recorded three crucial blocked shots.
Rémi Delahaye-Dupuis also had a strong showing, according to the coaches. They noted that he consistently works hard in the corners and is becoming increasingly effective in applying offensive pressure.
Charles Villemaire’s squad will play their next game on the morning of Friday, December 20, as part of the "Hockey Day in Soulanges" event, with Westwood High School visiting the Centre sportif Soulanges.
