Saint-Polycarpe Adopts 2025 Budget Totaling $6,850,300
In a special session held on December 9, the Municipality of Saint-Polycarpe adopted its 2025 budget, amounting to $6,850,300.
As with other municipalities, the majority of revenues—55%—will come from property taxes. Based on projections, the Municipality estimates $3.7 million will be generated from property tax assessments.
Among the expenses, 15% of the budget, or $1,010,600, will be allocated to public safety, while $980,400 will be distributed across various allocations, including debt repayment, the working capital fund, and various investments.
Minimal Tax Increase
For an average home valued at $323,025, this budget adoption represents a tax increase of $21.43—an increase of less than 1%, specifically 0.70%.
For properties not connected to the water and sewer networks, a decrease of 0.46% has been approved for the average property.
Tax statements will be sent to residents at the beginning of 2025.
