Here's a good reason to celebrate, and perhaps give a gift this holiday season: the concert “Rome: d'amour et de sang”, produced jointly by Galileo, orchestre symphonique de la Vallée-du-Haut-Saint-Laurent and the Atelier lyrique de l'Opéra de Montréal, will be presented on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at the Opti-Centre in Vaudreuil-Dorion. Tickets are on sale now.

A little over a month ago, Galileo celebrated the start of its 15th year of existence, since it was on the evening of October 31, 2010 that it began - as a lion, via the movement of Mozart's Jupiter symphony performed for the occasion - its artistic journey.

A recent joint grant from CALQ, MRC Vaudreuil-Soulanges, CACVS and MAMH has enabled the Orchestra to go ahead with this project. Don't worry, “Rome: d'amour et de sang” is not a horror film, but a crazy collage of famous arias by Handel (the composer of Messiah), Vivaldi, Lully and other famous Baroque composers!

See all the details by visiting the Galileo Orchestra website and click on the ticketing tab at the bottom of the opening page, if you wish to buy tickets.
