Due to the rain that fell on Tuesday, November 26, the Ville de Coteau-du-Lac confirms that the paving work scheduled on des Abeilles and Bourbonnais streets will be postponed until later this week.

At its meeting on October 10, Coteau-du-Lac's municipal council gave the go-ahead for the resurfacing of des Abeilles, Bourbonnais and Poirier streets. A contract was awarded to Ali Excavation of Salaberry-de-Valleyfield for the sum of $1,684,062.28, taxes included.

During the same meeting, it was mentioned that the project had been identified as a priority in the City of Coteau-du-Lac's Infrastructure Master Plan.

Here are the next steps in the project:

- November 27: paving section #1 (rue Bourbonnais -> #22 to #58 rue Bourbonnais;

- November 28: paving section #2 (rue des Abeilles -> #52 rue des Abeilles to #301 chemin du Fleuve);

- November 29: paving section #3 (rue des Abeilles -> #52 rue des Sitelles to #104 rue des Abeilles);

- December 2: paving section #4 (rue des Abeilles -> #108 to #255 chemin du Fleuve).

These dates are subject to change depending on weather forecasts.
