Coteau-du-Lac Christmas Market in pictures
Coteau-du-Lac was in the holiday mood this weekend, despite the absence of snow. That's because the town was holding its 16th annual Christmas Market at Pavillon Wilson, Parc Wilson and Centre Communautaire Wilson.
Now a not-to-be-missed event, the market showcases the creativity, originality and quality of the work of local and regional artists, craftspeople, producers and processors. Over 90 exhibitors are spread over 3 different sites, offering visitors a unique and festive shopping experience.
Outside, charming booths housed food artisans offering a variety of hot dishes, comforting beverages and other delights to enjoy on the spot.
On Saturday evening, the Hommage aux Colocs show, presented on the outdoor stage in Wilson Park, warmed up the crowd.
Visitors could have fun in the Photoboot, take a ride on a bicycle or horse-drawn carriage, meet Santa and Mrs. Claus, be dazzled by magic tricks and strolling entertainment, or watch the Christmas tree lighting. On Sunday, the VOXA4 Vocal Quartet entertained visitors on site between 12 and 3pm.
Last year, over 4,000 visitors took part in this celebration, making the market one of the biggest in the region.
