Homicide of Kevin Mirshahi in Les Cèdres - Two men arrested today
Investigators from the Service des enquêtes sur les crimes contre la personne, in close collaboration with the Service de police de Châteauguay, today arrested Darius Perry and Nackael Hickey in connection with the homicide of Kevin Mirshahi.
On June 21, four people were abducted from a Montreal apartment building and held captive. On August 22, a 32-year-old woman from Les Cèdres was arrested for premeditated murder and forcible confinement. On October 30, Mirshahi's body was found in Montreal's Île-de-la-Visitation park.
Darius Perry, 27, of Châteauguay, and Nackael Hickey, 26, of Montreal, are scheduled to appear today at the Valleyfield courthouse to face charges of accessory to murder in the death of Kevin Mirshahi, and the kidnapping of three other people.
To date, only Joanie Lepage, 32, a resident of Les Cèdres and owner of the residence where the victim was allegedly murdered, has been arrested. She is due to reappear at the Salaberry-de-Valleyfield courthouse on December 4, unless anything changes.
Any suspicious event or criminal act can be communicated, in confidence, to the Sûreté du Québec's Centrale de l'information criminelle at 1 800 659-4264.
