More than a hundred people gathered on Thursday, November 14, for the official opening of Groupe AutoForce's brand-new Ford dealership.

Among the guests were Groupe AutoForce President André Gingras, Executive Vice-President Frédéric Racine, Pincourt Mayor Claude Comeau, Vaudreuil MNA Marie-Claude Nichols and Vaudreuil-Soulanges MP Peter Schiefke.

Ford of Canada Executive President Bev Goodman also joined the festivities, along with Jim Hartford, Vice-President of Sales and Marketing at Ford of Canada, and other members of the Ford family.

Representing an investment of over $15 million, the new Ford dealership marks a new era for the company, which is modernizing its infrastructure to better meet the growing needs of its customers, notably with a space designed to accommodate a large inventory of electric and hybrid vehicles, as well as a space reserved for commercial purchases and services.

The new 41,000 sq. ft. facility boasts a number of new features, including Level 2 and 3 charging stations, ultra-modern equipment, a seven-vehicle showroom and an air-conditioned workshop. A celebration area has also been set up to celebrate the delivery of the vehicles.

"The all-new Ford Île-Perrot is two things. First, it's an extraordinary, frictionless customer experience. All our representatives, our managers, our leaders, our employees, both in the parts department and in sales, are there to take care of customers from the beginning to the end of the experience. The second part is this new location, and this new 41,000 sq. ft. building of ultra-modern equipment and facilities of which we are very proud", said Executive Vice-President Frédéric Racine.

Invited to speak, Pincourt mayor Claude Comeau praised the work of the entire Groupe Autoforce team. "The opening of this new Ford dealership was made possible thanks to the initiative of a dynamic company. Congratulations to everyone on this fine achievement, and I'd like to say on behalf of myself and the municipal council that we're very proud to have you here in Pincourt”.

Racine and Gingras had nothing but good things to say about the city's collaboration in the development of the project.

"We're delighted to present this new dealership to you. This major investment once again enables the Autoforce Group to demonstrate its commitment to the Île Perrot and Vaudreuil-Soulanges regions. We're very proud to be a regional dealer group. We now have eight dealerships in the region, plus a collision center. We have the opportunity to work with some 350 employees, and we're very proud to contribute to the region's economic development. The Ford dealership is a jewel in the crown of Groupe AutoForce," said Groupe AutoForce President André Gingras.

"As you all know, Ford's success begins with the extraordinary products we bring to market. But our mutual success is only possible thanks to the work of dealers like Groupe AutoForce. Day after day, they work hard to meet all their customers' needs. That's what makes the Ford family so special, and I'm very proud of it," concludes Bev Goodman, Executive President of Ford of Canada.
