Now that Halloween is a thing of the past, the question arises: when is it acceptable to put up your Christmas decorations? While for some, the answer is right away, for others, it's best to wait until the end of November, or at least until the first snowflakes appear.

The subject inspired last week's poll question for the Neomedia team. In some big-box stores, Christmas items have been appearing since early summer. Radio stations, on the other hand, wait until late November or early December to play the holiday classics.

This week, readers were asked: when is it acceptable to put up Christmas decorations? The answer choices were as follows:

- As early as November 1: 7.7%;

- After November 11 (Remembrance Day must be over): 10.3%;

- From November 25 (one month before Christmas): 30.8%;

- Only in December: 51.3%;

- You have to take down your decorations after the holidays: 0%.
