Cégep de Valleyfield recently welcomed two new executives to its ranks. The first, Daniel Sauvé, is Administrative Manager of the Vaudreuil-Dorion Study Center, while the second, Pierre Lefebvre, is Interim General Manager of the Salaberry-de-Valleyfield main campus.

Mr. Sauvé (left in photo) will take up his new position on Wednesday, November 13. His main mission will be to contribute to the implementation of new programs to be offered at the Centre d'études de Vaudreuil-Dorion as of fall 2025, and to support its development.

He holds degrees in administration and industrial engineering, as well as significant experience at CISSS de la Montérégie-Ouest, STM and Cirque du Soleil.

“Both, with their strong management and administrative experience, will be able to ensure the sound planning and coordination of current and future institutional and educational projects,” Cégep de Valleyfield states on its social networks.

At a press conference held last October, the Cégep de Valleyfield unveiled its expansion plans for its Vaudreuil-Dorion study center, which will welcome 150 students enrolled in one of the following programs at the start of the 2025 school year:

- Nursing;

- Physiotherapy techniques;

- Special education techniques;

- Human sciences;

In winter 2026, nursing training for local nurses will be added to this course offering.
