On Thursday, October 24, Groupe AutoForce welcomed customers, insurers, employees, suppliers and dignitaries to 13, rue Huot in Notre-Dame-de-l'Île-Perrot. They were able to discover the company's new Collision Center, which houses body shop, paint shop, estimator, parts and appraiser services all under one roof.

The spacious building includes a workshop area, as well as office and living spaces such as a kitchenette and staff lockers.

“ We are very proud to welcome you this evening to our new body shop managed by CarrXpert. For those who don't know us, Groupe AutoForce consists of 8 car dealerships, seven of which are located on Île-Perrot, employing a total of 350 people. The Collision Center has been in existence for 17 years. At first, it occupied only the rear part of the current building. Then it expanded, doubling its size for the first time. In 2022, we had the opportunity to make a major investment, once again doubling the size of the Collision Center. We therefore decided to consolidate all our operations under one roof. Our employees are delighted, as they now work in a beautiful location adapted to their needs,” sums up André Gingras, President of Groupe AutoForce.

The space is now better adapted to the needs of not only employees, but also customers, suppliers and partners of the Collision Center.

“ We have invested heavily in specialized equipment, as we hold several certifications. In fact, we will soon be officially certified to repair electric vehicles. It's very important to us that our employees continue to develop their knowledge and certifications,” he added.

“ We're very proud of our new premises, which feature attractive living spaces for employees on the 2nd floor, such as a glassed-in dining room with a view of the outside, and a locker room where they can safely dispose of their personal belongings. The place is more welcoming from the moment we arrive. I want people to remember these two words: pride and gratitude. For his part, Denis Barrette of CarrXpert pointed out that this branch is one of 160 of this brand in Quebec. The banner is expanding outside Quebec, with new locations in Manitoba, Saskatchewan and British Columbia.
