On October 10, police officers from the Beauharnois-Salaberry MRC conducted a narcotics search on rue Maden in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield. This operation, which mobilized nearly a dozen police officers, resulted in the seizure of various products.

List of products seized :

- Over 300 methamphetamine tablets

- Over 5 g of powdered methamphetamines

- Over 18 g of crack cocaine

- Approx. 1 g cannabis crystals

- Over 33 g dried cannabis

- Over 3 g of hashish

- Approx. 300 contraband cigarettes

- Equipment related to drug trafficking

- 3 pellet guns

Two men, one in his thirties and another in his forties, were interviewed by police in connection with this seizure. They could face drug-related charges in the future.
