Groupe Sanivac announces the official launch of its new subsidiary VACFORCE, the inauguration of its head office and its first manufacturing garage for vacuum truck equipment in Notre-Dame-de-l'Île-Perrot.The launch marks a decisive step in the history of this family business, established since 1961. The official ground-breaking ceremony took place on Monday, October 7.

Since its foundation, Groupe Sanivac has constantly evolved, building on its expertise in pumping, cleaning and hydro-excavation services.

Thanks to more than 60 years of operational challenges, the Sanivac subsidiary has not only mastered vacuum truck technology, but has also developed the ability to design and manufacture them according to criteria specific to the realities of its operations.

As Carole-Ann Kelly, co-owner of VACFORCE, points out: “This launch represents a significant step forward for our company and for the industry. We are proud to share our Quebec expertise.”

With VACFORCE, Groupe Sanivac aims to conquer the American market. A total of three production lines will be dedicated to manufacturing vehicles for the American market.

From Sanivac to VACFORCE: a natural development

The move towards VACFORCE was born of a need: the trucks available on the market did not meet the requirements of performance, durability and reliability in extreme conditions. This reality led to the creation of their own vacuum trucks designed to meet the unique needs of their operations.

As Vincent Kelly, President and co-owner of VACFORCE explains: “We designed these trucks with a deep understanding of the challenges encountered in the field. Every detail has been thought through to ensure reliability and performance.”

Designed by operators for operators

Innovation at VACFORCE is based on a deep understanding of operators' needs. The trucks are designed to maximize efficiency, reduce downtime and minimize maintenance requirements, while offering optimized load capacity.

Thanks to an experienced team of designers and production coordinators, every VACFORCE truck embodies unrivalled reliability to meet the most rigorous challenges in the field.

“We design our VACFORCE trucks with a clear understanding of operators' needs, because we ourselves use vacuum equipment on a daily basis at Sanivac and Excavac,” explains Julien Bélair, Vice President Fleet Management for Groupe Sanivac and Director at VACFORCE.

A shared ambition and Quebec pride

This project is not only the fruit of an entrepreneurial vision, but also of a collective ambition.

“VACFORCE is not just a new division, it's a symbol of our heritage and commitment to innovation and excellence. Through years of continuous improvement, we have evolved into an independent entity with its own garage and manufacturing line. Today, VACFORCE embodies an expertise that took root over 60 years ago and continues to grow,” concludes Vincent Kelly.
