From October 18 to 20, nearly thirty artists from the Artistes Hudson group will be presenting EXPO ART at the Stephen Shaar Community Centre, 394 Main Street. Admission is free for interested art lovers.

In all, between 25 and 35 artists will exhibit over 200 works in a variety of artistic media, including oil, watercolour, acrylic, stained glass, photography, sculpture, mixed media, digital art, encaustic and collage.

“Artistes Hudson Artists presents 2 exhibitions a year, in spring and autumn, to promote the artistic creativity of its members and offer the public the opportunity to visit our members' works at the exhibitions. Visitors who fall in love with one of the works on display will be able to purchase it, if they wish,” says Denise Sefsik, communications manager for the art association.

One lucky person might even come home with an original work to embellish his or her home. “During the exhibition, we're offering the public the chance to win an original work created by artist member Maria Reinhard. This will be done via the purchase of tickets and then a draw, with proceeds going to the NOVA HUDSON organization.”

The next exhibition will take place in April 2025. You can discover EXPO ART at the vernissage on Friday, October 18, from 7 to 9 p.m., and on Saturday and Sunday, October 19 and 20, from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
