By-election: Four candidates running for district #2 councillor position

A by-election for the position of Councillor in district #2 - Georges-Jules-Beaudet in Coteau-du-Lac will be held on October 27, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. 

Following a call for candidates, four applicants have put themselves forward for the position: Marcel Bélanger, Alexis Buisson, François Décosse and Normand Lalonde. 

On polling day, voters are invited to come and vote at the Centre Communautaire Wilson (2, rue Georges-Jules- Beaudet). An advance voting day is also planned for October 20, from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m., at Pavillon Wilson (4B, rue Principale). 

Only residents of district #2 will be eligible to vote. They are encouraged to consult the electoral map for the boundaries of district #2.

Voters will shortly receive a notice of registration by mail. If their name is not on the notice, they are invited to appear before the municipal board of revisors: on October 7, from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and on October 9, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., at 342, chemin du Fleuve. 

After these dates, it will no longer be possible to register on the electoral list, or to modify your registration. For further details, please consult the notice of revision.
