The Ministère des Transports et de la Mobilité durable is advising road users that two roadblocks will be in place on the Vaudreuil-Soulanges territory this Wednesday, October 2.

The first will take place on chemin de la Fourche in Rigaud, between 8am and 9:30am. More specifically, it will take place on the Chemin de la Fourche bridge over the Rigaud river. It will be necessary to inspect the structure with access equipment.

During this operation, the bridge will be completely closed. Detours via local roads will be in place, with flagmen on duty to keep traffic flowing. The length of the closure may vary depending on the inspection, and work may be postponed in the event of poor weather conditions, says MTQMD.

A second similar obstruction will take place nearby, on Route 201, from 9:30 am to 11 am. It will be located on the bridge over the Rivière à la Raquette, between the Highway 40 ramps and Chemin J. René-Gauthier.

During this obstruction, traffic will alternate with the help of a signaller and barriers.
