The TRACE partners are launching this call for submissions, at the end of which the jury will select emerging visual artists who will be given the opportunity to present a solo exhibition.

In addition to the exhibition, the selected artists will be entitled to a professional photo shoot, the production of a video clip about themselves, an individualized professional development program and the support of a professional curator.

The services offered to each winning artist as part of TRACE are worth an estimated $3,000, plus a $650 bursary.

2024-2025 edition

The CACVS is proud to announce the arrival of two new program partners. First, TVSO la télévision du Sud-Ouest has become an official partner, offering to produce and broadcast one video capsule per participating artist.  In addition, the City of Salaberry-de-Valleyfield has enthusiastically agreed to participate, by making a venue available to a local artist, the Musée de Société des Deux-Rives (MUSO).

The Vaudreuil-Soulanges venues - the Musée régional de Vaudreuil-Soulanges, the Maison Trestler and the Pavillon Wilson of the City of Coteau-du-Lac - continue their long-standing involvement.

Six emerging artists will now be able to take part in TRACE.

Please note that this definition is binding only on TRACE.

 Selected artists must be available to participate fully in the TRACE program, specifically the photo shoot, filming, training sessions, hanging and vernissage.

How to submit an application

Interested artists can submit a complete dossier containing the following elements:

- A letter of intent, detailing the reasons for responding to this call;
