La Maison de la Famille Vaudreuil-Soulanges announces the departure of its General Manager, France Pomminville, after more than seven years at the helm of the organization.

Under France Pomminville's leadership, the Maison de la Famille has undergone an impressive expansion, notably with the broadening of its service offering, including an increase in the supervision of access rights and the complete development of the perinatal program.

“I leave with a sense of accomplishment. The organization is in great shape, with a solid Board of Directors and a professional, dedicated and committed team. I put a lot of time, love and vision into the development of this organization, because I believed in its mission and the quality of its organization. Today, MFVS is a must for families in the region,” said France Pomminville.

Her departure, effective October 3, will mark the end of a period of growth for the organization. A recent MBA graduate, Ms. Pomminville decided to take on a new challenge by heading up the Canadian subsidiary of an international organization.

“It has been an immense privilege to work alongside such a passionate and dedicated team. I'm proud of what we've accomplished together, and I'm convinced that Maison de la Famille will continue to grow and have an even greater impact,” she adds.

Gratitude from the Board of Directors

“The Board of Directors would like to express its deep gratitude to France for her exceptional dedication and inspiring leadership. Thanks to her hard work, the Maison de la Famille is now solidly established to successfully continue its mission and meet the needs of families,” says Diane Lyonnais, Chair of the Board of Directors (BOD).

The Board of Directors is actively planning the transition. The solid foundations laid under Ms. Pomminville's leadership will enable the organization to continue to thrive.

The Board of Directors will work with the in-house team for an interim period. Planned programming will be maintained in full, as will MFVS's participation in partnership and concerted action activities.
