End of measures in place at the Vaudreuil-Soulanges ecocenter network
The MRC de Vaudreuil-Soulanges has announced the end of the temporary measures put in place at the ecocenter network following the torrential rain of August 9. As of September 16, the usual conditions will be restored, including a return to the regular schedule and a maximum of 5 m3 accepted per visit. Please note that each citizen can dispose of up to 12 m3 of material per year, free of charge.
All residents of the 23 municipalities in the Vaudreuil-Soulanges MRC can use the services of the network's four ecocentres. On site, you'll need to show photo identification and proof of residency from one of the 23 municipalities. A power of attorney will again be required for people bringing in materials from another address.
It's important to remember that ecocenters help divert a significant quantity of material from landfill.from landfill, to be recycled, recovered or disposed of in an environmentally responsible manner. To maximize efficiency, we suggest that you accumulate your materials and sort them by category before going to the ecocenter.
For more information and to consult the list of materials accepted, visit www.tricycle-mrcvs.ca or call 450-455-5434 to reach the Info-EcoCentre line.
