Cégep de Valleyfield's Noir et Or football team will officially kick off its home season on September 21. In this inaugural game presented by Desjardins, starting at 1 p.m., the student-athletes will take on the Islanders of John-Abbott College.

Starting at 11:30 a.m., fans will be able to attend the traditional gathering in the rear parking lot of the Cégep de Valleyfield. This festive event will highlight Desjardins' contribution to the football team. The financial institution's involvement with the college sports community is well established, enabling many athletes to practice their favourite sport in their school environment.

To get the evening off to a great start, enjoy the music, foodtruck and bar (cash only for the bar), which will create a convivial atmosphere before kick-off. However, you're welcome to bring your own barbecue and culinary specialities if you wish. A symbolic kick-off will also mark the official start of this first home match.

Tickets available online and on site

Tickets for the inaugural match are currently on sale online for $12 (including parking and fees). In addition, you can purchase tickets for the Noir et Or's three other home games. Tickets for the evening itself will also be on sale on site (terminal and cash).

Other home games not to be missed!

The Noir et Or will take on three other college teams on the Cégep de Valleyfield turf.

- Saturday, October 5 at 7:30 p.m., against Cégep de Saint-Hyacinthe, presented by ALI Excavation;

- Saturday, October 12, 7:30 p.m., against Collège Ahuntsic, presented by CeZinc;

 - Saturday, October 26, 7:30 p.m., against Cégep de Lévis, presented by Fondation du Cégep de Valleyfield.
